Olivia Riviere is a choreographer/dancer based in Copenhagen. In her practice she works with obscure vocal-techniques, and touches on its materiality and sensorial influence. This has been played out in solo/co-works like In sync – sung (2017), Ever Losing (2019), DUNKEL (2022), Triptykon - Splat (2022), Shriller (2022). The work with choreographer Lisen Pousette, DUNKEL and Ever losing, has toured places like Les Urbaines (Lausanne), Norberg festival (Norberg), Inkonst (Malmö), Dansehallerne (København), Weld, MDT, Fylkingen (Stockholm), Østre (Bergen). They are currently in the making of their coming work Spiritus (2024). Since her BA in dance and choreography from The Danish National School of Performing Arts (2015) Olivia has been part of running the space DANSEatelier together with eleven other dancers/choreographers. They work towards alternative modes of production and togetherness in the field of dance.
